Hair Color after Demi Permanent Color

When demi permanent dye washes out, would my hair go back to my natural hair color or back to the light brown hair I already had?

Also, do lightening gels contain henna?

Your hair will revert to whatever color it was before you applied the demi permanent color.

Lightening gels typically do not contain henna. Check the ingredients on the package however. There may be brands on the market that have henna. If they do, most should have it plainly visible on the label however.
