Growing Out Hair Color
by Erika
The best way to grow out hair color is by letting it grow and cut it every 6 weeks, correct? Just wondering, because that is currently what I am trying to do.
Any other suggestions or is it just plainly time and cutting off that it takes to get my natural hair color back? I have medium brown hair and the color in it is like a golden blonde (mistake color) and my hair is long, past my collar bone. My roots are coming in majorly. Anything I need to answer please don't hesitate to notify my! Thank you.

As far as I know, there is no set of rules for growing out hair color, except that it's not an easy process. Its a lot like growing out short hair. You grow it a little, then cut or shape it a little. You don't need to go overboard on cutting it though, unless you want to.
If your roots bother you that much, you can use a semi/demi permanent hair color to cover them. (If you like the color... but from what you've said, I don't think you do...)
Everything in it's time! Once your hair is completely grown out, you'll be a lot less self conscious about it. Good luck!
