Go Lighter Blonde Without Hair Color
How can I go a lighter blonde without dyeing my hair? What natural ways work the best (without drying my hair out or ruining it) to lighten it to maybe a golden blonde? Are there any shampoos and conditioners that give out colorants, because most of the shampoos and conditioners I've looked at say in large letters that they don't distribute any color, or they don't have any ingredients that would dye your hair.
Would the John Frieda Go Blonder stuff work?
The reason I want to do this is because I used to have much lighter hair (at one point it was golden blonde) but my hair is continuously getting darker. Now its a dark blonde. I would not look good with brown hair, especially light brown. My parents both started out with light hair, and their hair darkened to a deep brown.

Mother nature has her own ideas about what your hair color should be. You cannot change what your genes have already decided.
You can safely lighten your hair by using simple lemon juice or salt water. Apply either of them to your hair and sit in the sun for an hour or so.
Shampoo and condition as normal.
According to the reviews,
John Frieda Go Blonder works for some people and some not. You must use it everyday for it to make a difference however.
I'm sure there are other products on the market that would help your hair lift to a lighter color. However, with your family history (your hair continuing to get darker), eventually you'll probably have to use hair color to get it lighter.
Hint: Do not use Sun In products. They have metals in them that deposit on your hair that will damage your hair over time.
