The full effects of glyphosate consumption, (an herbicide found in Monsanto Roundup and GE crops), probably won’t be realized for many years to come. However, there are a myriad of symptoms and health problems that have already been well documented and realized. The mainstream media does a good job of NOT reporting any of these FACTS that BIG BUSINESS doesn't want you to know about. They’re all working together to deceive the general public about how dangerous this weed killing poison really is! Why? Because they like the "status quo" the way it is!

You see, it’s the perfect setup! And you’ve been HAD!

Most busy people don’t wonder where their food comes from. Their home-life and workload are complicated enough. They simply don't have the time or fortitude to worry about what they put into their gullet. So they eat the food that’s served in restaurants and found in grocery stores and don’t ask any questions. Life goes on until someone they know (or themselves) gets sick. Only then, do they start to wonder where this ‘mysterious illness’ came from!

Both Monsanto and the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) knew at least as early as 1981 that glyphosate causes cancer in mammals. Earlier studies conducted during the late ‘70's and early ’80's documented the cancer-causing effects of glyphosate consumption in rats, mice and dogs - although this information was BURIED by Monsanto and the EPA.

Although Roundup is used on most all commercially grown crops today (conventional and GE), the effects of glyphosate consumption appears to be worse for the GE crops. They’ve been genetically altered to withstand otherwise lethal doses of the herbicide that permeates the entire plant. Therefore, it cannot be washed off.


And that’s exactly Monsanto’s counting on! Of course, they’ve had lots of help from many corrupt governments and from agencies who are supposed to be the WATCHDOGS (EPA and USDA) for consumers. Instead, they’re all in cahoots and don’t give a rats butt about YOU! They want to control what you eat, drink, and think, and that’s clearly all they’re concerned about!

How Glyphosate Poisons Your Body

For many years now, Monsanto has fed the public lies – that Roundup is harmless to animals and humans because the mechanism it uses to kill weeds – called the shikimate pathway - is absent in all animals. However, you have to dig further to find the truth.

The shikimate pathway IS however present in bacteria, which is key to how it causes such widespread systemic harm in humans and animals. The bacteria in your body outnumber your cells ten to one. For every cell in your body, you have 10 microbes of various kinds, and all of them have the shikimate pathway, so they will all respond to the presence of glyphosate! Guess Monsanto hasn’t figured that out yet?

Glyphosate causes extreme disruption of all microbe functions and lifecycles. It also prefers the beneficial bacteria you have in your gut, allowing pathogens to overgrow and take over. At that point, your body also has to contend with the toxins produced by the pathogens. Once enough inflammation sets in, chronic and potentially debilitating disease ensue.

As stated by Jeffrey Smith, author of Seeds of Deception:

"Roundup is actually patented as a biocide. It’s an antibiotic, it kills bacteria. That affects not only the soil, killing the beneficial bacteria that provide the nutrients to the soil, but it also kills the beneficial bacteria in your gut... It kills the Bifidus. It kills the Lactobacillus. But it keeps alive the E.coli, salmonella, and botulism, which is not something we want to keep alive. When you kill the beneficial gut bacteria, it affects your immune system and digestive tract".

Test’s showed that people in 18 countries across Europe have glyphosate in their bodies. Another study revealed that the chemical has estrogenic properties - that trigger breast cancer proliferation in the parts-per-trillion range. This might very well explain why rats fed Monsanto’s CORN developed massive breast tumors in the first-ever lifetime feeding study published last year.

Other studies demonstrate the effects of glyphosate to cell lines, aquatic life, food animals, and humans. In fact, research has shown that Roundup is toxic to human DNA even when diluted to concentrations 450-fold lower than is used in agricultural applications. Liver, embryonic and placental cell lines are negatively affected by glyphosate consumption at doses as low as 1 ppm. (parts per million) GMO corn can contain as much as 13 ppm of glyphosate.

Americans consume approximately 193 POUNDS of GMO foods annually.

Monsanto's got a clear history of toxicity: sodium and calcium saccharin, neotame, aspartame, napam, agent orange, DDT (almost wiping out the American Bald Eagle and Condor), glyphosate/Round Up, herbicides, insecticides, fungalcides, pesticides, neuro toxins.

On March 20, 2015, the World Health Organization’s (WHO) panel of cancer experts, published its latest review of the cancer risks of glyphosate consumption. They were quoted saying that:

"glyphosate is probably causing cancer in humans".

"Four laboratory studies published in the late 1990's demonstrated the ability of glyphosate and glyphosate-containing herbicide products to cause genetic damage", adds the report. And "three recent studies have demonstrated a link between glyphosate exposure and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, a type of cancer".

Not surprisingly, Monsanto immediately attacked the review, the same way they’ve attacked every credible independent scientist in the past. Why? Because Monsanto’s $6 billion in annual sales of glyphosate are at stake.

At what point will U.S. regulators stop pandering to Monsanto's bullying?

Let it be known that the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) does not test foods for glyphosate residues because the agency says it’s "too expensive".

In 2013, the EPA raised the allowed limits of glyphosate residue for various crops, including soybean oil and potatoes. "Roundup Ready crops" — soy, corn, cotton, canola, sugar beets, and alfalfa (remember these!) — have generated a tenfold increase in usage. According to Charles Benbrook, Ph.D., of Washington State University, data shows that U.S. farmers used enough glyphosate in 2014 to apply the equivalent of almost three-quarters of a pound on every acre of crop-growing farmland. Worldwide, 99.7 percent of GMO crops are pesticidal-containing plants.

Now that WHO has made clear that cancer is one of the effects of glyphosate consumption, it would only make sense for the EPA to take action and ban this dangerous chemical that is making people sick and polluting our environment.

Let us remember that cancer is a $100 billion industry. One in 3 US citizens will have cancer in his life. (1:4 women and 1:2 male) That is up 5 times what it was 50 years ago.

Glyphosate is currently under review by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), which has the power to ban its use in Roundup, or anywhere else.

The panel of expert scientists from WHO considered the following evidence, when they linked glyphosate consumption to cancer. However, many of us, who do in-depth health research for a living, have known this fact for years.

  • Increased rates of non-Hodgkin lymphoma were found in occupational exposure studies of workers who handled glyphosate in the USA.

  • Cancers of the kidney, blood vessels, stomach, and skin were observed in laboratory studies of rats and mice exposed to glyphosate. (This is clearly the short list). If you'd like more information on gyphosate consumption and cancer, check this out.

  • Our bodies absorb glyphosate. This is indicated by the fact that glyphosate is found in the blood and urine of agricultural workers.

  • Our intestinal microbes metabolize glyphosate just like soil microbes do. When people are poisoned by glyphosate, aminomethylphosphoric acid (AMPA), (a metabolite of glyphosate that’s found in contaminated soil and water), is found in their blood.

  • Glyphosate and Roundup induce DNA and chromosomal damage in rats.

  • Glyphosate, Roundup, and AMPA induce oxidative stress in rodents and in vitro.

  • In addition to threatening human health, the use of glyphosate is destroying the monarch butterfly habitat of milkweed plants that use to thrive in corn and soybean fields. The monarch population has suffered a 97 percent loss since the introduction of Roundup Ready crops.

    Soil persistence, water contamination, drift, damage to plants and animals, and "superweeds" are among the many other major causes of concern with regards to glyphosate. None of these issues has ever been properly addressed by governing authorities, and yet glyphosate usage continues to increase year after year.
