Fly Away Hair - How to Control It!

Order the WENŽ Healthy Hair Care System and receive FREE bonuses

Fly away hair becomes harder and harder to control as you age. Those little gray hairs that pop up on top of your head, can drive you crazy! You can also have fly aways from new hair growth, (which happens a lot too), or from hair that's been abused by hot appliances or even brushing too often or frustration with tangles.

There is no one size fits all when it comes to fly away hair. You will probably have to try a few different products to get the results you want. Definitely, gray hairs are the hardest to control. They have a mind of their own and will not cooperate most of the time. The trick is to be smarter than your hair is!

This video below will explain various methods to control them. There are a few I left out though, but that's why I post individual pages for my videos. Your reward for viewing my site is that I have more time to think about the issue at hand, thus more time to come up with more answers.

If you use hot curling irons or flat irons a lot, you probably have some amount of breakage. Deep conditioners like hask placenta or Cholesterol Hair Conditioner, are two of my favorite products to deep condition. A new favorite is Loreal Feria Color Treatment. You can use it after you shampoo or with a heating cap for best results. It really makes your hair feel slinky and soft.

The other product you can use in a pinch, to control fly away hair, is simply spit. Yes, I know it sounds gross upon first reading this, but how many times have you done it yourself? Why does a small amount of spit work? Actually, your saliva contains digestive enzymes that help start digestion. They are a bit sticky if left to dry. They almost act like a hair gel. (Hair gel is also a great way to control them!)

You can pull them out if you get really frustrated, especially if they're the gray hairs that curl and stick straight up. No, its a hair myth that more will grow in if you pull them out. However, over time, you'll only be fighting a losing battle! Its simply impossible to keep up with them.

In the long run, you will probably find that hair wax is one of the best ways to control fly away hair over the course of any given day.
