Fluoride consumption is something you should think long and hard about. No one in their right mind would purposely ingest it if they realized all the long term ill-effects it can cause. The fact is that this highly disruptive halogen can cause cancer, birth defects, gastrointestinal symptoms, urinary symptoms, and imposes risks to the respiratory system. While the industry continues to dismiss any threat from consuming it, they are selling it. What else do you expect they'd say?

The ENTIRE purpose behind water fluoridation is to reduce resistance of the masses to total domination. Anyone who drinks fluoridated water for a year or longer, will never be the same person again, mentally or physically.

Fluoride Facts

- Although toothpaste concentration is very high (1100 ppm w/w), the amount of toothpaste used is typically very small (between 1/2 to 1 gram). Generally, toothpaste is used in the mouth for very brief periods - about 1 or 2 minutes, and then almost all of that fluoride is expelled and goes down the drain. A very small portion, 5 percent - 10 percent is absorbed through the gums, mostly depending on how long you brush. So, the total intake of fluoride by brushing is very small, roughly 0.15 mg per day. In many cases 0.1 mg which is so small it isn’t significant, especially when compared to the exposure of 2 mg per day due to water fluoridation.

- Roughly 2 mg per day is the approximate amount of fluoride you get from water of the US. Two mg of fluoride equals two liters at 1 ppm, or 2.86 liters at 0.7 ppm.

- People in Maine (where fluoridation is typically set at 1.2 ppm) are typically exposed to about 3 mg fluoride daily.

What Fluoride Consumption Does in the Body

Fluoride:

- Takes over iodine receptor sites on the body. The effects of consumption happen quickly. It also opens up the blood-brain barrier, much the same as aluminum. On the other hand, iodine (another halogen) is essential to all living cells and all cells have receptor sites for it. When fluoride is consumed, it displaces iodine on those receptors and illness is the result.

- Weakens bones and joints and lowers IQ significantly. Governments like fluoride and bromine (another halogen) because it dulls the populous and makes people easy to manipulate. People also die off more quickly as a result of regular fluoride consumption.

- Is a known endocrine disruptor. It accumulates in the pineal gland, which produces melatonin and controls sleep cycles. Because of the lower levels of fluoride found in drinking water, it can take a few decades to accumulate to levels that negatively affect people. This may account for the fact that more older folk have trouble sleeping but think it's just from growing older.

- Accumulates in the thyroid gland, which affect metabolism, reproductive hormones, and mental function. When the thyroid gland isn’t working well, it affects dopamine levels in the brain which affect the decision making process. It can cause mental fog, memory loss, and lethargy.

Fluoridating the water is illegal in Europe. Both the soviets and Nazis added sodium fluoride to the water supplies in the Gulags.

USAF Major George R. Jordan testified before Un-American Activity committees of Congress in the 1950′s that in his post as U.S.Soviet liaison officer, the Soviets openly admitted to:

“Using the fluoride in the water supplies in their gulags (concentration camps), to make the prisoners stupid, docile, and subservient."

The health risks from fluoride consumption should no longer be ignored.

Health Risks from Fluoride Consumption

  • Fluoride is a known carcinogen – and was found to be an equivocal carcinogen by the National Cancer Institute Toxicological Program.

    Early studies showed a 5 percent increase in all types of cancer in fluoridated communities.

    "In point of fact, fluoride causes more human cancer death, and causes it faster than any other chemical," stated by Dr. Dean Burk PhD - who in his lifetime spent over three decades with the national cancer institute.

    Researchers suspect a cancer connection because half of ingested fluoride is deposited in bones. Fluoride stimulates growth in the end of bones, where osteosarcoma occurs. Studies by the NJ Department of Health have confirmed a 6.9 increase in bone cancer in young males, meaning that fluoride consumption increases your risks.

  • Most developed nations do not fluoridate their water. In western Europe, for example, only 3 percent of the population consumes fluoridated water. Only 11 countries in the world have more than 50 percent of their population drinking fluoridated water:

    Singapore (100%), Hong Kong (100%), Brunei (95%); Australia (80%), Malaysia (75%),the Irish Republic (73%), Chile (70%), Israel (70%), the United States (64%), New Zealand (62%), and Guyana (62%),. In total, 377,655,000 million people worldwide drink fluoridated water – which represents only 5 percent of the world’s population.

  • Drinking fluoridated water doubles the number of hip fractures for older men and women. Extremely low levels of water fluoridation 0.1 ppm still produced statistically significant hip fractures. (Bordeaux Study JAMA 1994)

  • According to the WHO (World Health Organization), there is NO discernible difference in tooth decay between countries that fluoridate their water and those that do not practice fluoridation. What the CDC always fails to mention is that tooth decay rates have "precipitously declined" in all western countries, irrespective of whether the country ever fluoridated its water or not.

    "Fluoridation is no longer effective," contends Hardy Limeback, head of the preventive dentistry program at the University of Toronto, who says adding the chemical to water is "more harmful than beneficial."

  • Although fluoride has been proven to cause neurotoxicity in animal studies, very little published research has elaborated on acute fluoride poisoning and neurotoxicity.

    A study published in Neurologia showed "the prolonged ingestion of fluoride may cause significant damage to health and particularly to the nervous system" – the conclusion drawn by a review of studies by researchers Valdez-Jimenez, et al.

    The standardized weighted mean difference in IQ score between exposed and reference populations showed that populations in areas of high fluoride consumption had significantly lower IQ scores than those who lived in low fluoride areas.

  • Infertility in women increases with fluoride consumption. The Food and Drug Administrations (FDA) own scientists reported a close correlation between decreased total fertility rates in women between ages of 10 and 49, and increased fluoride levels.

  • Even though fluoride is naturally occurring in some areas, doesn’t mean that it’s safer to consume. In fact in those same areas, fluoride levels in water can quickly reach levels that are totally unsafe to drink. How do you know? Most of the time, you don’t.

    Furthermore, the fluoride added to most water supplies is not the naturally occurring variety but rather fluorosilicic acid - captured in air pollution control devices of the phosphate fertilizer industry.

  • Fluorosis is a tooth enamel defect caused by too much fluoride consumption during the first 8 years of life. Opaque white spots and brown teeth are the result. Fluorosis currently affects one in five children in the US although it is rarely seen in California – because less than 16 percent of their population drinks artificially fluoridated water.

    Do not forget that children can get fluoride from outside the home if they’re consuming processed drinks that use fluoridated water. Painting the teeth with fluoride is a common practice by dentists today but should be totally avoided!

  • A British researcher found that the cells in the pineal gland (a gland that contains calcified deposits that accumulate fluoride) were just as vulnerable to fluoride-induced toxicity as tooth-forming cells. As noted by the researcher:

    "The safety of the use of fluorides ultimately rests on the assumption that the developing enamel organ is most sensitive to the toxic effects of fluoride. The results from this study suggest that-the pinealocytes may be as susceptible to fluoride as the developing enamel organ."

    The pineal gland 1) controls your inner clock, 2) provides good sleep, 3) works with adrenal glands to handle stress, 4) keeps the thymus gland well fed and cared for, and 5) communicates every second of every hour with the rest of the endocrine system about how things are going.

  • The FDA has long recognized, fluoride is not necessary to human health. Because it’s used primarily to prevent disease, the FDA considers fluoride to be a drug... which means that fluoride consumption is not essential to human health.

    - FDA has never approved a fluoride supplement as safe and effective.

    - FDA has rejected two fluoride supplements (Enziflur & prenatal fluoride)

    - FDA gave false information to Congress in 2000 by stating FDA "never rejected" a fluoride supplement.

  • Most people are overexposed to fluoride due to the pesticide cryolite found in grape products, particularly white grapes, grown in the U.S.

    Many juice drinks that are not labeled as "grape juice" use grape juice as a filler ingredient. The use of cryolite contaminates many juices with fluoride.

    Cryolite is also allowed to be added to the following products: (Although it is unclear how many producers are using it, and what the resulting fluoride levels are.)

    Apricot, Broccoli, Brussels Sprout, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Citrus fruit, Collards, Eggplant, Kale, Kiwifruit, Kohlrabi, Lettuce, Melon, Nectarine, Peach, Pepper, Plum, Pumpkin, Squash (summer & winter), Tomato, and a number of Berries (Blackberry, Blueberry (huckleberry) Boysenberry, Cranberry, Dewberry, Loganberry, Raspberry, Strawberry, Youngberry).

    The key way to avoid fluoride consumption from cryolite is to buy only organic grape products... particularly those beverages made from white grapes.

  • Fluoride is a non-degradable poison that accumulates in soil, plants, wildlife, and humans. Many organic farmers are not aware that it’s been allowed for use in the National Organic Standards (NOS) program, because its presence is hidden.

    It is allowed as Sodium Fluoride - tucked away in the US EPA List of 4 Inerts. (“Inerts which have sufficient data to substantiate they can be used safely in pesticide products, according to EPA.”)

  • Fluoride consumption can be linked to cardiovascular disease. A study published in Nuclear Medicine Communications Journal concluded that increased fluoride found in arteries may be associated with an increased cardiovascular risk.

  • Drinking cheap instant tea blends or bag tea found in most grocery markets can increase fluoride levels to toxic levels – which leads to an increased risk of skeletal fluorosis. It can cause bone pain, calcified ligaments, bone spurs, fused vertebrae, and difficulty moving joints.

    Scientists believe fluoride is absorbed naturally into tea plants from soil and rainwater - which varies by year, harvest and location.

    Fluoride can also be found in coated (Teflon) cookware, chewing tobacco, some wines and certain sparkling mineral waters.

    There is no doubt that fluoride consumption is a major problem in countries that fluoridate their drinking water. Only briefly in my 57 years on this planet, have I ever consumed fluoridated water. Whatever you do, please use a reputable filter for your home drinking water, keep showers and bath time short if you have city water, and decrease your consumption of processed foods. Environmental toxins are rampant. You must do your part to reduce exposure!
