I'm 13 and have natural dark blonde/mouse brown hair with blonde highlights. I'm thinking of dying my hair dark brown/black and having it tinted like Pic 3 but the opposite way round (Brown on the top, dark red on the bottom) but slightly different colours to pic 3. (If you look on pic 4 its the top left two colours.)
Also I have fine hair and want it feathered and layered (Pics 1 & 2). Would that work? Roughly how much would it cost? And should I do it?

That's really hard to say sweetheart because you didn't tell me if you had fine,
thick hair or fine,
thin hair. I think you're confusing
hair volume with
hair texture.
Feathered hair is very popular because it never goes out of style! If you have enough hair, feathering it is a great idea and it also creates layers. Just make sure the hairstylist you go to, knows how to do the cut! Not all hairdressers do!
There is also no way for me to predict how much it might cost to have your hair colored and cut. Each salon sets its own prices. The best thing to do is to call around and get a few quotes from a few different salons.
Should you do it? Only you can answer that question. If its something you're passionate about, then by all means try it. If it doesn't turn out the way you want it too, you'll know better next time. You'll make a hundred hair mistakes in your lifetime! Believe me!
