Extreme hair loss after rebonding!

I got my hair rebonded two months ago. It was soft, straight and shiny... BUT now my hair has started falling out, every time I brush my hair or even run my fingers through it. Its like more than 150 strands every time.

I condition and oil my hair regularly but my hair keeps falling out.

The salon from where I got my hair rebonded used FRAMESI products.

Please suggest a good shampoo and conditioner that I could easily find in SAUDI ARABIA. I don't want to go bald.

*************

The only thing you can do is a little damage control. It sounds like the chemicals used in the rebonding process were just too strong for your hair or the hairdresser used too much tension when they were straightening/processing your hair.

Do you know if your hair is coming out from the roots or is it just breaking off. From the picture you uploaded, it looks like your hair is breaking off in different places along the hair shaft.

I don't know what brands of products are available in Saudi Arabia but a fortifying conditioner might help. Look for deep conditioners, rescue conditioners, or emergency packs that contain both protein and moisturize. Your hair needs protein to strengthen your hair and it needs moisturizers that help retain elasticity.

Be careful when you brush your hair. Use a boars hair bristled brush only and only brush your hair once or twice a day at the most. Try and keep your hands out of your hair unless you are smoothing your hair down. Use a wide toothed comb in the shower after you condition your hair to get rid of tangles. Use deep hair conditioning treatments like crazy!

I would file a complaint to the salon where you got this done!

This is one of the biggest complaints I read about when it comes to rebonding. Your hair is fine for a short while, then it starts falling out. Its best to forgo the rebonding and live with the hair you were born with. Anything is better than losing your hair, which happened to me last year. (but for a completely different reason.) Just know that I feel your pain!
