Dry Damaged African American Hair
Hello, I'm a young African American female, and I have had my hair relaxed for years, I use blow dryers, straightening irons, every time I get my hair done, which is about every month. My hair is however, healthy in a word.
But, I am just not seeing any new growth. I was told hair is supposed to grow 3-6 inches a year. I trim my ends each time I go to the salon, but I know getting them trimmed EACH time won't result in any progress.
Do you have any tips on what I can do at home to reduce breakage, and make my hair stronger, softer, and more moisturized so that I can begin seeing progress? Thank you so much.
