I have had such bizarre experience there. this all started in may. i went in for a simple layered undercut bob. the stylist first off cut off 4 inches when i asked for 2. my hair was super short. i left there miserable. the stylist was poorly trained. she had to stop more than once and ask other stylists for advice. so naturally after the cut i complained to the corporate c.s. i got an apology and a refund. I waited till october for hair to grow out. i tried making appt. with a new stylist at same salon. they let me book appt but after getting there and sitting in the chair, the new stylist announced that she had "heard things about me" and worried i would be difficult to please. i had barely sat down and begun discussing what i wanted. now i did start off with some concerns and preferences but given how her co-worker had butchered it i thought that was reasonable. this new stylist in effect told me to leave & that she couldnt help me. I think she didnt want to work with me from the get go and i was so mad my time was wasted. today i tried to make a waxing appt. there. I was determined never to go their for hair-do stuff but i had a gift card so i wanted to use it. after being on hold for 5 minutes the manager comes on and says that they are hesitant to work with me as a client. she said she worried i would be hard to please and did i really want this appt? when i asked what would precipitate the need to be transferred to her and did i have some bad rep there, she became beligerent and would not answer me. she just kept repeating did i want the appt or not?! and she was getting hostile. i was so freaked out by experience that i firmly said no i did not want to make this or any other appt with this salon ever again. i am the one who gets her hair butchered in may and now i have the rep as a bad client?! How did this happen?! Dont ever go to the ulta salon in kansas city, mo at the tiffany springs shopping center. they will treat u badly and god forbid u get a bad hair cut and they will do everything they can to make it all ur fault somehow. ************ This is totally bad business. What happened with the first stylist there, should have remained confidential. You were targeted for no reason. Best advice? Don't go back! (Good bye and good riddance, right?) Thanks for sharing! |
