Dandruff and Hair Loss

by Ash
(Trinidad)

My 9 yrs old daughter has had dandruff for about a year now. If she washes her hair every other day, she can control the itching that comes with the dandruff. However within the past year her hair(which is hip length and smooth,) started to frizz a little. For the past three months though, every time I comb her hair, or wash it, it comes out in hand fulls. I'm worried. What can be done to help her?

****************

It sounds like your daughter has seborrhea. (cradle cap) I was born with this too and the only thing that helps my condition when I have a flair is Nizoral shampoo.
