Cut Curly Hair Wet or Dry?

I have mid back length curly hair. Should I trim it when it is wet or dry?

This is a fantastic question! Thanks for asking it!
Curly hair can be cut wet or dry. Its probably easier to get a straight cut however, when its wet and laid down, unless you want to straighten it first. You can do a dry cut a lot more easily when its straight.
The problem with cutting your hair when its wet, is that hair shrinks somewhat after it dries. If you opt however, to cut your curly hair wet, simply don't cut as much hair as you might want.
For example, lets suppose you want to
trim your hair 1". If you cut your hair wet, you might only take 1/2" - 3/4" instead. It all depends on how much your hair shrinks after it dries.
Simple measurements can help you make that decision for yourself.
