chase bank is a thief in corporate clothing. they offered me a 7.99 percent fixed rate 3 years ago up to my limit. Due to an unexpected income tax bill i used the ck to pay my taxes. Guess what when i recieved my statement they posted it as a cash advance???? I called and told them it was an error. i used the ck they provided and this had to be wrong. thier answer was do you have a copy of the check??? i said no you must have it in your records. do you think i would be crazy enough to use this as payment. They said write a letter and explain what happened to cust svc. they came back and said to bad the rate is 24 percent. stopped using the card which we had for 23 years. continued to make pymnts online so i could have proof of payment. now they are rasing my interest rate from 6 percent to 17.99. i ask why and the answer was your acct is not prfitable. we have closed the acct as well as any other cc. if we dont have the cash we dont need it. the banks took fed taxpayers money and the result is we got you then and we will get you now. Im consoulting an atty to declare bankrupcy and do them the way they did everone else. at age 67 what can they do dig me up and say pay?????
