Change a Short Boxy Haircut
by Ellen
(Austin, Texas )
I used to like my hair until I let myself get talked into these ugly phases of shag, bob, and what I call "the Christmas tree haircut". (Where your hair is pulled to the side of your head at a 90 degree angle, then cut straight down.) The end result is your hair flips out all over like a Christmas tree!
My hair is now above my shoulders and I'm trying to grow it out but it's getting "bushy and boxy" at the bottom and flat on top. What can I do? The more I go in to get it fixed, the more it still really looks the same Christmas tree cut. The stylist is just hiding the fact it's the same cut by thinning it out and styling it under but it flips back out in a few hours. I want to get back to my V cut style!

You have a few options. You could cut your hair in a cute
shorter hairstyle or
add layers to your hair yourself. (If you can get your hair up on top of your head.)
Your hair is much too short right now for a
V cut style, but if you let it grow out a couple more inches, you could probably get it to cooperate with you.
Trying new hairstyles is great! You shouldn't be afraid to change your hair every now and again, especially if you feel like you're in a hair rut. However, choosing the wrong style is always disheartening.
That's why it's great to have hairstyling tools that make your life less complicated.
Virtual hairstyles give you the option of trying out your hairstyle before you actually cut it.
To help your hair grow faster, you might also think about taking
Super Biotin. Its a
B vitamin that helps promote
hair growth.
