Caramel Highlights in Dark Brown Hair

I have medium to dark brown hair and would like to have highlights that are a caramel color. I have bought a packet of blue and purple Kaleidocolors with 40 developer per the lady's instructions at Sally's. Do you think this is what I need?

If you can stop the action of the bleach when you need to, it might work but you'll have to watch it carefully and be prepared to get the bleach out of your hair when it's processed to the color you desire. This can be tricky so prepare beforehand and have everything you'll need within reach.
