Capital One Customer Complaint

I had the exact same experience with Capital One today with the exception of talking to a Supervisor. I hope they record the conversation along with everyone else's and someone gets a hint that it will hurt their company's reputation.

These banks won't listen. That's evident! Customers don't know anything, but the banks know everything.
What I want to know is what Obama is going to do about this! Why are we bailing the banks out, if they are screwing us? After all, isn't it our money they're spending. Why should we have to pay them twice? Seems totally one sided to little ole me!
The company that I work with, when I'm not working on my site, also has a Capital One card. The rate on that went up from 5.99% to 10.99% and to my knowledge, we never got a statement from them telling us that's what they were going to do. I just happened to look at the bill, and there it was, 10.99%. Now, I am going to have to retrace our payment receipts, to find out when they actually raised it. They will be getting a phone call from me too!
Somehow this one got by me. I guess that's what they hope will happen with a lot of other people. That's a pretty shady way to do business though and it makes me sick to my stomach!
I don't know where it's going to end? Maybe we'll all go broke and no one will be able to pay anything to anyone. What a screwed up way to take down a bank!
