Can Protein Treatments Reverse Hair Loss?
I recently quit using Rogaine and decided to leave my hair loss to the hair gods. I went back to blonde after far too many bleachings and decided to buy a protein treatment that I would use once a month (leave on till hard, rinse, deep condition). My hair is in great shape, but what is mind boggling to me is why I'm not losing my hair now?
I'm not talking breakage, which also isn't happening thanks to the protein treatments, but no more genetic hair loss. (At least for the time being.) Once I quit using Rogaine (many months ago) I should have lost my progress, but nothing happened. In fact, my hair is thicker and fuller than it ever has been since I started thinning a decade ago.
I'm afraid I'm jinxing myself and my hair will start falling out once I hit submit here, but I'm wondering if you could tell me exactly what a protein treatment would do, not to the hair, but to the scalp/follicles etc that might contribute to my success, if at all.
It's been 7 months since I quit Rogaine, so 7 protein treatments now. Thanks so much for any help.

Its easy to understand why you might assume that your lack of
hair loss is because of using protein treatments, however
protein treatments only treat hair that's visibly showing and do not stimulate the scalp to new growth.
It is possible that you used
Rogaine just long enough that it helped your body gets its natural hair growing rhythm back and now it's growing on its own.
One simple supplement you can take to ensure that your hair growth continues, is
Super Biotin. Its a
B vitamin that stimulates
hair growth.
You should feel very blessed!
