Brassiness in Blonde Hair

I have a client whose hair was black and now she wants it blond. Her hair is blond for the most part but now I need to get it from a brassy blond to a pretty blond.
***********
You just need to lift her hair again to remove the brassiness. You'll need a light or very light blonde hair color and possibly a stronger peroxide if the brassiness is stubborn.
If you lift her hair lighter than you intended, you can always use a toner afterward, to provide the blonde color your client wants her hair to be.
It would be best to do some strand tests before applying anymore color to her hair. That way you'll know how strong a mixture you'll need.
I suggest you make 3 strand test samples with your light blonde hair color. The first one: use a 20 volume peroxide, the second one: a 30 volume peroxide, and the third one: a 40 volume peroxide.
If the strand tests don't have enough lift on their own, try using a hooded dryer or a
thermal heat cap, or cover her hair with a cap and wrap a towel around it. By all means, keep her nice and warm to expedite processing time.
After processing her hair, you'll know which mixture will get the job done.
