We ended up with a chase bank credit card after they took over the accounts from Circuit City. When we realized the super high interest rates they have, we called them and asked them to close our account so it couldn't be used anymore and we would pay it off.
Be careful about your statement due dates. They have the tendency to change your due date according to when you make your payment. If you make a payment two weeks early, then they will move your due date up two weeks. It's a great scheme to make people who aren't attentive, have to pay $35.00 late fees.
