Best Cheap Shampoo

What is the best cheap shampoo you can get from Walmart that will not damage your hair and will keep it soft and shiny.

Well, that's a bit difficult to answer since there are different hair types, (thick, thin) hair patterns (curly, wavy, straight), hair conditions, (dry, oily, normal) and hair textures (fine, medium, coarse). Also, what works best for one person, might not work well for someone else. We all have different perceptions of the way products work for us.
Another factor is what effect we want the products to perform. You might have curly hair but like your hair straight, soft, and shiny. You might also have wavy hair but like to wear your hair curly, soft, and shiny. Its all such a mixed bag.
Another factor is that some hair products, although they cost more to buy initially, can last a long time than one that's less expensive. It might be that the product has better ingredients to begin with, or that the cleansing ingredient concentrations are higher.
However, there are lots of good inexpensive brands on the market that work well. Since I've been a hairdresser almost 20 years, there's not a brand (just about) that I haven't tried using!
My favorite picks, right off the top of my head are: Matrix Biolage, John Frieda, Bumble and Bumble, Bed Head TIGI, Fekkai, and Redkin. These are in no particular order and there are some brands left off the list.
Some of the products cost more to buy but work so well, you don't need to use them as often and they're usually concentrated, so a little goes a long way!
What is your favorite cheap shampoo? (If you have one.)
