Truly Revealing Beauty Secret - SSSHHHH!!!
There is one beauty secret that no one mentions anymore. I recently found out how much of a difference it can really make. If you want to look beautiful then don’t forget to do this~ I recently posted a blog about how I’d been sick for a week. Bummer~ When I got better I went straight back to work trying to make up for lost time. Then I looked in the mirror and screamed! YIKES! Aarrgghhhh! Who was that person in the mirror??? What kind of mirror was I looking into when I screamed??? It was not a regular mirror~ It was not a bathroom mirror~ It was certainly NOT a rear view mirror:o) Can you guess? That's right! It was a 'make-up mirror’:o)
Here is my point. I have a make up mirror but the light bulb burned out a while back and I didn’t replace it. I kept putting it off or forgetting to buy one when I was at the store. After I had the flu I decided that I’d finally take care of me and replace the light bulb. So I did. Then it was another full week before I really looked closely. YIKES! What an awful sight!~ My eyebrows were unshapely. My facial hair needed zipping. My skin looked fine because I take care of it daily :o) but the hair on my face was pretty scary. Aside from seeing those unruly hairs, you can also find blackheads that need to go or zits that need zapping, or any other imperfections you need to work on. Maybe you need to brush your eyelashes more. (Yes, they need to be brushed occasionally just like the hair on your head does. Brushing stimulates circulation both places:o) And don’t forget your eyebrows too~) Or you might need to iron a few wrinkles. You really won’t believe how helpful 'paying attention to the details' can really be!~ A make up mirror is one great beauty secret I like reminding people about~ I’ve taken care of all of my extra facial hair now. It was definitely detracting from what I could’ve looked like weeks ago if I had just taken the time. One frigging light bulb~ Oh well, live and learn! My best beauty secret is to #1) invest in a lighted make up mirror and #2) use it as much as possible to pick up on the little things you may be missing in regular light!
