All About The Eyes~ How to Create
Beautiful Eyes

Like to know how to have beautiful eyes? Your eyes are usually the first thing someone notices about you! Why?

Because your eyes are the mirrors to your soul. They can be a reflection of inside and outside beauty. What do people see when they look in your eyes? If you have dark circles, puffiness, or fine lines and wrinkles, the time to act is now.

Don’t put off taking good care of your eyes and enhancing them whenever you get a chance! With the right makeup and care, anyone can have beautiful eyes. There are so many products and makeup tips that can help your eyes look great any time of the day or night!

#1) Moisture-Eyes – Moisturize around your eyes every day. Daily facial moisturizers may not be enough to take good care of the delicate skin surrounding the eyes. Apply moisturizers with your fingertips. For beautiful eyes, use gentle but firm strokes to apply moisturizers.

Always apply any creams or gels to your eyes in a clockwise direction on the right side and a counterclockwise direction on the left side.

Another way to interpret this is to always move fingertips from the outer eye underneath the eye to the inner eye, up the inner brow bone and around the top of the eye and back out to the outer eye. Follow the natural orbit of the eye.

There are many eye cream brands on the market today.

Clinque has a product called ‘All About Eyes’, but there are many other brands out there for less $$$$.

L’Oreal, Oil of Olay, and many others all have their own brands of relatively the same cream. I've tried a few eye firming creams and have been disappointed in their results. L'Oreal was one of them. Then I found Black Licorice Eye Cream. This product is really inexpensive and had a 5 star review! with glowing results! AHAVA Mineral Eye Cream also had a 5 star review but cost a bit more. There are also serum's like Olay Regenerist Eye Lifting Serum. You can definitely find a comparable one for much less than Clinque brand.

Eye creams are specially formulated to help maintain the integrity of the delicate skin around them. Best advice is to use these types of products overnight.

Used overnight, eye creams can help rejeuvenate the skin and help reduce circles, puffiness, shadows, and fine lines~

#2) Eye Gels – Want to get rid of bagginess, puffiness, and wrinkles instantly? (Say YES~)

Eye gels may be all the help you need to get rid of them and have beautiful eyes. Eye gels help firm the skin under and around the eyes and literally works WONDERS. Gels are the Botox of eye care. Olay Age Defying Eye Gel has a good rating and helps firm the skin. It costs around $15, but there are many other brands available at any superstore.

If you want an eye gel that reduces puffiness especially, try Sudden Change Eye Gel w/ Green Tea.

Eye gels seem to get better results if they are left cold in the refrigerator. Cold contracts, heat expands.

Eye gels can also help elongate and separate the lashes and to help shape the brows. You’ll need an eye brush for best results.

Eyelash and brow brushes include an eyelash brush on one side and an eye brow brush on the other side. If you don’t have one these are cheap to buy at any local superstore. Lashes - Apply a very small amount of gel to your ring fingertips on both hands. Rub fingertips together. Gently apply gel to the front and back of lashes. You can accomplish this by closing your eye first, then apply gel to the back of the lashes. Wait a few moments for it to dry. Open your eyes wide and apply gel to the outer lashes by lightly bushing against the lashes with your fingertips. It doesn't take a lot of gel to do this and you don't want to get gel in your eyes. It won't hurt your eyes if you do but it does make your eyes water if you get gel in them. Brush out lashes with the eye lash brush. Allow to dry. In this way, gels works the same way that clear mascara's work. Brows - Apply a small amount of gel to your ring fingertips. Apply gel to the eyebrow. Brush your brows with the eye brow brush; first upwards on the inner brow, then outwards on the middle brow, then downwards on the outer brow. Allow to dry.

Of course you can accomplish this all in one step instead. Just apply the gel to your entire eye and then immediately brush each the lashes and brows.

Be sure to wash the brushes out after use and thoroughly dry them. You can keep bacterial infections away if you practice proper sanitation.

#3) Shape - If you want beautiful eyes, you have to shape your eyebrows. This either means plucking or waxing unwanted hair.

#4) Exercise - Did you know that you should exercise your eyes? Eye exercises are designed to help bring clarity of vision and improve eye strength. Don’t know how to do them?

No worries, here's how.

#5) Use Eye Drops - Use eye drops daily. Eye drops not only help moisture-eyes, they help refresh them and whiten them. If you want to create beautiful eyes, then make sure they're white.

Apply eye drops to your eyes as soon as you get out of the shower and dry. Make it a daily practice. No one likes to look into blood shot eyes.

You can buy inexpensive brands like Equate Brand Eye Drops at most superstores. For a large bottle, your cost will be around $3. These inexpensive brands have the SAME INGREDIENTS as the more costly brands!!

Allergies, contacts, alcohol, drugs, and pollutants will all contribute to red eyes. Get rid of red eyes if you want to have beautiful eyes~

#6) Use Milk - Use plain milk at night to help tighten the skin surrounding the eye. Milk is a wonderful firming liquid. The lactic acid in milk is an alpha hydroxy acid.

Hydroxy acids help dissolve and exfoliate dead skin cells. Milk cleanses and firms the skin down to its deepest layers.

To use: pour a very small amount of milk in a small cup. Dip a clean q-tip or cotton ball in the milk to saturate. Gently apply the milk underneath the eyes on both sides and in between each brow.

I even like to apply some around my mouth to help firm and cleanse the skin surrounding the upper and lower lips. You can even apply it to the entire face. Why not?

You'll be surprised how a little bit of plain milk can really help firm and refresh your beautiful eyes~

#7) Rest, Relax, and Sleep - Get regular sleep and rest. If you don’t, you will have bags, sags, and dark circles under your eyes. Eyes need to rest. Without sleep you will definitely show your age!!!

#8) Destress - Destressing everyday needs to be a ritual although its hard to do in this fast paced world. Your eyes will be one of the first places to show it if you stay stressed all the time. If you want beautiful eyes, it is imperative that you learn how to destress!~

#9) Eye Make Up - Used correctly, the right eye make up can make ‘your look’. Eyeliners, mascara, and eye shadow’s used correctly can brighten the eyes and make them look more expressive.

#10) Take Vitamin A/Beta Carotene – Beta Carotene can really help improve vision, especially night vision. The one other thing you'll need to do, is to get regular eye exams. (If you can afford them!) Regular eye exams can catch problems early. If you can’t afford to visit your Opthamologist, just be sure to have reading glasses when you work if you can’t see.

Straining your eyes is dangerous to your eyesight. You can get a cheap pair of eye glasses from any dollar store. They work fine and you’ll keep from straining them. Taking good care of your eyes doesn’t have to cost a fortune though.

There are a lot of things you can do to improve your eyes that cost nothing. If you want to have beautiful eyes, you have to take care of them! You can transform your look and show a more beautiful mirror of your soul!
