Essential Anti Aging Skin Care Products

Anti aging skin care products are a must have for anyone who want to look younger! Your skin craves moisture. Thats a fact. For skin to look healthy and plump, moisture must be applied to it daily. Overnight creams work well to help replenish moisture over night. But which ones do you choose, and which ones work best?

Because everyone's skin is different, we all have different needs, however, there are a few lotions and creams that are made for all skin types. Some of the skin care products may initially cost more to buy but sometimes quality is more important than quantity! If you buy an inexpensive lotion and it doesn't work well, then there was not that much to lose. If you buy more expensive ones and they don't work well, you've lost a lot.

The best way to know if a product works well is to do your homework. Find out what other people are saying about a product before you buy it. If there are conflicting reports about the effectiveness of a product, then you must draw your own conclusions. If you buy more expensive products that work well, you will still save money because although some of these products do cost a bit more to begin with, they generally last a long time.

Directions on most anti aging skin care products instruct you to use them sparingly. A little goes a long way, so you will get your money’s worth!

One of the anti aging skin care products I've used for years is also one of the least expensive anti aging products you can use and one of the easiest to find.

They are Alpha Hydroxy Lotions.

AHA's are probably the best anti wrinkle lotion that Walmart has to offer. They give you lots of bang for your bucks!

If you've ever used one with any frequency, then you know how well they work and how much they help to tighten pores and smooth the skin. If you haven't found one that works well for you, then you might want to try a higher percentage AHA than the one you've been using. They've shown great results and really do help a lot.

Most all Alpha Hydroxy Lotions are generally about the same when it comes to skin care.

Neutrogena Healthy Skin is one AHA cream that works well. It's been around a long time and works very well for normal to oily skin types. Another Neutrogena product that get good results is Neutrogena Advanced Solutions.

However, we aren’t all the same! We are all unique and have our own skin type and problems that originate because of it. People who have oily skin would not use the same products that people who have dry skin use and visa versa.

Alpha hydroxy lotions usually contain a fruity acid. They work by gently exfoliating dead skin cells. AHA's help give the skin a 'light peel'.

Some have stronger AHA percentages than others. This is really important. Please read percentages carefully on the labels.

If you have dry or sensitive skin, then use AHA's with lower concentrations or percentages or don't use them at all.

If you have normal to oily skin, you’ll need to use a higher percentage AHA to penetrate and permeate the oils on the skin.

When you use alpha Hydroxy Lotions you may notice a tingling sensation when you apply them. This is a good thing! You want to ‘feel it’ working!

After you use them your skin may either break out with a few pimples OR become slightly reddened or flushed. That's a good sign that the lotion is working properly!

NO WORRIES!~ These temporary skin conditions will clear up by themselves in just a short time. They work by renewing and regenerating the skin. As the old dead skin cells are brought to the surface and expelled, they are replaced by new skin cells that are brought forth to the surface.

This cell 'turnover' helps keep your skin fresh, youthful, and healthy. The more you slough the skin, the younger your skin will appear. Just keep using a good daily facial lotion each day to moisturize it and be sure to give your skin a rest from the Alpha Hydroxy’s.

Alpha Hydroxy's are not meant to be used everyday, but they are an important part of anti aging skin care!

Anti aging skin care products are not hard to find. They don't have to be expensive either to work effectively. They REALLY HELP fight the aging process!

You just have to pick the one that's right for you and stick with it!

Sometimes a little bit of money and effort truly goes a long way!
